Born on Wurundjeri Country to Italian-settler parents and based on Djaara Country, Andrea Distefano is a creative strategist working as a General Manager and Producer across not-for-profit, social enterprises and storytelling companies. The secret sauce in her work is bringing a deep commitment to care, creativity and intercultural collaboration, ensuring her process is curiosity-driven and guided by a shared purpose.

Andrea is currently the General Manager at Shifting Ground and the Yulawil Program Coordinator at Nalderun Education Aboriginal Corporation. As a Creative Producer, Andrea has produced storytelling projects in collaboration with GARUWA, Common Ground, Djirri Djirri Dance Group, Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA), First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria, Museo Italiano, Lucy Guerin Inc, Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre, The Black Arm Band and more.
